Sagan MacIsaac is a curator and cultural strategist.
Her strategy, engagement, and cultural programming work has informed major projects for clients including: Toronto Biennial of Art, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, StART (City of Toronto), Sidewalk Toronto, The Meadoway, WoodGreen Community Services, City of Ottawa, Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto, Waterfront Toronto, Quadrangle, Nuit Blanche and Mount Sinai Hospital. She frequently collaborates with Bespoke Cultural Collective and Art+Public UnLtd.
A graduate of OCAD University’s Criticism and Curatorial Practice program, Sagan has curated many self-initiated projects, and produced and managed events, performances, and installations for Art of the Danforth, YYZ Artists’ Outlet, OCAD University, and the Art Gallery of Ontario, focusing on how to engage Torontonians in a rich cultural life. In 2015, she founded Sagan Editions to make Canadian art more accessible to a broader audience by producing limited edition artist multiples.
